Fresher’s Day in any College is an event which every student looks forward to . For this purpose on 15th September, which was also Engineer’s Day, a cultural event was organized by the senior students of MGI to welcome the new students. The Directors of the institute inaugurated the program by lightning of the lamp.
The program kick-started with melodious group song by senior students,
followed by introduction round and ramp walk for the contestants of Ms.
Fresher 2012 title.
In between the first and the final round of the competition, various
cultural programs were added so as to create the magic of anxiety and
suspense for the participants. A skit on anti-ragging was also performed,
that spread awareness on how measures have been taken to eliminate it from
academic institutions now.
The last round was the questionnaire round where the selected participants
had to answer the questions asked to them and on the basis of their answers,
confidence Chandrika Meena won the Ms. Fresher 2012 title.
After this the students rocked the show and enjoyed the celebration with a
Jam session with which the program came to an end, leaving behind sweet
memories that we will cherish life long.
To instill awareness about the environment among the students, the college has organized tree plantation activities in and around the campus in the month of August.
The students has participated in the activity with full enthusiasm supported
by the staff and faculty members and it was a great success.
Teacher’s Day is that momentous event where students engage in unbridled capacity to shower their love, adoration and respect to their teachers, the harbingers of knowledge light, in their lives.
This was a year of power packed emotions and sensational performances. All
those who performed for their teachers, truly meant it and found a deep
reason to be there.
Teacher’s discussions, on the day continued even after the event ended, they
praised students performances and felt touched by the heart-warming
mementoes presented to them.

Tarang-2012 was organized in the month of April and inaugurated by
Directors Dr. Jaiveer Singh , Mr. Manish Dangi and Er.
